I sent the care package today.

Underwear and socks.
Sweater.
Slacks.
Tolieties.
A couple shirts.

David lost his wife and his house in the same time. So he ran off to Illonois with a woman he met over the Internet. He got a DUI. She threw him out. He got another DUI. His car, with all his clothes, was impounded. To his credit, he’s got a part job at a grocery store. The clothes I shipped to him should be useful for his job. And he’s FINALLY going to AA meetings! Some folks really have to have the snot knocked out of them before they get their shit together.

Took the plunge and bought this buggy beauty from Gametap. The download was relatively painless. However, the old 20 gig hard drive in my Gaming PC died. So I just happen to have an 80 gig hard drive handy. So within 5 hours, I was up and running again.

The game installed ok, but I discovered that the 1.2 patch required the CD. GameTap was kind enough to send the game already patched. But I downloaded the 3.9 UNofficial patch just to get a little more out of the game. I’ve been playing it and its indeed a graphic masterpiece.

Goodbye Paul…

I found out yesterday that a coworker passed away. He was suffering from leukemia. Evidently, It caused a stroke and his brain died. They pulled the plug and he expired 7/19/07. Paul was a nice guy. Kind of quiet, quick to laugh. Stocky gentleman who belayed his intelligence.

I feel badly for his family. He passed away at the very young age of 24. I’m trying to see if we can organize a collection for his family.

Got the Iron Pills.

I really don’t want to be at work today. Its totally TPS. My ass is dragging. I have a certified letter from the IRS that has me concerned. I’ll pick it up tommorrow before I go to work.

After last nights swim, I was tuckered out and slept like a baby. So the next day I also slept late. I was late to work as well.

Had a day off from work yesterday. No OT this time. So I slept in, rode my bike out to my mother house, mowed the lawn and mounted an American Flag on her porch. Had a decent dinner of baked chicken and something called Fennel? Its was a starchy but ok.

It was about 10:45pm when I rode my bicycle home. It was somewhat dark, but I was at a lit crossway. I nearly got creamed by a pickup truck driver. I yelled out “Watchit Fucker!” He responded by yelling that I need to put lights on my bicycle. I was pissed, but in retrospect, he was right and I should’ve been more careful. Sorry.

So I went grocery shopping after work, picked up the food stuffs. Filled my gas tank and bought an overpriced bottle of Tylenol. Slept until 7am today.

Got up, got 5 computers out of storage. Striped and piled about 7 computers in my car. Took them to the dump. Felt good to reduce the trash load. Got my oil changed too.

About 10 minutes ago, my mother came to my desk and told me that they towed her car. I offered to let her borrow mine so she can get home. She’s going to call Mark, my oldest cousin. Its going to cost her $120 dollars to get her car out of stock.

Shit rolls down hill.

The Good, The Bad and The Ulgy.

Some good finally. I’m able to pay my bills without having to borrow from my Credit card.
This means that I can start shaving off the debt and getting ready for saving up for a new car next year. Call me weird, but I cleaned up my living room and now I have carpet. The other day, I mopped my Kitchen floor and its no longer sticky/yucky.

The Bad? I’m fighting fatigue again. The stupid job PTS dealie is wearing me out. So I’m eating crap and gaining weight to keep up. This isn’t good. Time to turn this shit around.

The Ugly? I’m falling behind in my expectations with PC Santa. I’m also slowly loosing my mind. Every day, I get up and plan my day, but I’m damn lucky if I get up in time for work. Getting to work really sucks because there are rarely enough desks to log in. And I’m not sure if I’m even doing a good job.

Meanwhile, I’m watching my favorite forum, The liberal forum implode since it changed owners. This Thread should prove quite entertaining. Warning foul language.

Anyway, Too much drama at the old Liberal Forum. Its the not the same anymore. I’ve been posting there since 2004. They recently changed owners. The new owner is nuttier than a snickers bar. He’s got websites concerning Israeli polititians and his efforts to stalk them. Thankfully, Not_Prince_Hamlet set up a new forum called “On The Left.”
